Etive House is a residential care home in Argyll and Bute.

At our home, older people can enjoy the benefits of group living and personal care and support. At the same time, they can retain their independence in a safe and homely environment. Our caring staff offers support for residents. Residents may be seeking companionship, needing help with daily tasks, or can no longer manage on their own at home.

Etive House offers a family atmosphere where residents can enjoy their hobbies, interests, and outings in the local community. We also have house cats who warmly greet everyone with love and affection.

In addition to Residential Care, our care home also supports those in need of Dementia Care, Respite Care, or Palliative Care. We offer residents 24/7 care and support, helping them live a full and happy life every day.

Residential Care FAQs

Residential care is the best solution for those who require full-time accommodation and around-the-clock personal care and assistance. It is also a great option for those who would benefit from a group living setting. Similar to residential care, nursing care also provides 24/7 care and support but it is designed to provide medical care from registered nurses who can administer medication and medical treatment. Please note Etive House does not currently offer nursing care.

The personalised care plans we create for our residents are regularly monitored and assessed. If our resident’s care needs change while living at Etive House Care Home, then our team will work with them and their loved ones to adjust their care plan as necessary to ensure their needs are always being met.

The services and facilities provided by care homes all vary, but at Etive House Care Home, you can expect 24-hour care and support, activities for personal well-being, housekeeping and laundry services, dining, entertainment and in-house facilities.
