We have some great news to share with members of the local community. Etive House Care Home is hosting a special monthly Friendship Group event for those over 60 in our community, where you can enjoy a delicious soup and sandwich lunch! You won't even have to pay a penny for it.

Organising an event such as this for individuals in the local community aims to help encourage companionship and social engagement among older adults and promote a stronger sense of community. By inviting locals to visit our care home in Oban, a warm and inclusive environment is formed where friendships can flourish and a network of support can be established.

This initiative encourages a positive outlook on ageing and demonstrates how care homes can be a place of warmth, care, and interaction, reducing any potential isolation that older individuals might experience in their own homes. The offering of a free meal not only helps to satisfy hunger but also serves as a gesture of hospitality, demonstrating the care and respect that Etive House extends to its visitors.
