A Special Visit From Our Friends At Ardgour

There were lots of smiles around our home recently as we welcomed our friends from Ardgour for a visit with their alpacas and two adorable baby goats.

Our residents enjoyed spending time with the animals, with many taking the opportunity to stroke the alpacas, help feed them and chat to the handlers about them. The baby goats were full of character and quickly became a favourite, bringing plenty of personality along with them as they wandered around saying hello to residents.

The visit gave everyone something to talk about, with many residents sharing memories of animals they had owned or cared for over the years. It was lovely to see so many conversations taking place and to watch everyone enjoying the afternoon together.

At Etive House Care Home, we always enjoy welcoming visitors who bring new experiences for our residents, and animal visits are always popular. Spending time with animals can brighten the day and create opportunities for conversation, shared memories, and something different.

We would like to thank everyone from Ardgour for taking the time to visit us and for making the afternoon so enjoyable. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed meeting the alpacas and baby goats, and we hope to welcome them back to Etive House Care Home again in the future.
